Cottage Life Meets City Life in Orillia

Finding a balance between cottage and city life can be hard. Where do you find a city that is quiet like cottage country but still has enough modern amenities and architecture like any city? Enter Orillia where cottage meets city and you’ll find the perfect home.

Orillia is a city with a population of approximately 40,000. That’s small potatoes compared to the Greater Toronto Area’s whopping 6.4 million people. Besides less people than your average metropolis, Orillia has a picturesque waterfront with a sandy beach and boating. There’s also green spaces and parks for strolling, running and walking (you may not need that Goodlife membership again!). As for peace and quiet; it’s at your fingertips. You can sit on your balcony with your beverage of choice, reading and breathing in that pure Orillia air until the cows come home. And no, you will not see cows roaming the streets. Orillia may be at the intersection of city life and cottage country but it is not farmland.
